What about Legend of the Guardians? Gawsh, everyone forgets that one.

It made 140 million Worldwide. Not a lot of people saw it.

These guys were talking about LOTG being another good Snyder movie and your argument is the box office?

How is that relevant? More people saw the movie anyway by renting/purchasing the dvd, downloading the torrent or by doing any other illegal activity.

Wtf are you talking about?

If you stop and think for a second you'd realize that people would likely think of a movie less often if the movie wasn't popular or if they didn't see it.
So you can calm your overreaction down, hot shot.

You seem to be confusing 'people saw it on DVD' with 'it became popular on DVD'.

Note the order of recognition, save for a few exceptions, tends to result in higher box office.

Fact: Not that many people saw it. It's logical to think it wouldn't be on the top of people's heads.

I haven't seen it, nor do I really want to see it.

It's surprisingly good. Well made, well directed, well written, and a beautifully animated film. 3D was great too.

Neither have I. Not really interested in animated films unless they are by Miyazaki, Pixar or one of the Walt Disney oldies.

I really didn't like it. Lots of slow-motion, one-dimensional characters, no emotional investment in the characters or the story etc. The only good part is that is beautifully animated as you said. It may be wrong to compare it to a PIxar movie (which can be in an another league of his own) but if I do Guardians it's simply dog shit.
“Producing’s a lot easier than directing,” Nolan added dryly. “I’m doing it as we speak.” (while giving an interview)

…. And on the eighth day God created Christopher Nolan, and on the ninth day Nolan started making movies.

Snyder has Watchmen than besides that the only other thing I can watch is DOTD. 300 was entertaining once and never again. I think MOS will be his best film since Watchmen. Probably better... maybe.
