I do like that it's trying to be its own thing, but I honestly see two things here and it's jarring: Cashing in on the Stranger Things and IT craze, and going so far away from rehashing all the classic iconic stuff like the 2016 movie did, to the point where this barely even looks like a Ghostbusters movie.
I don't like this sudden algorithm of "Hijinks with Goofy Kids + Shameless Nostalgia = Instant Win!"
Yea, I'm also not too interested in a watching a bunch of kids bustin' ghosts.

And let's not forget two things: Ghostbusters, among other classics, inspired Stranger Things and the original cast is in this. Reitman isn't showing all of his cards yet.
