That's what I meant. I like it better when the director is using mocap, because you get a real actor's performance, instead of just a voice recording.
Voice acting is acting too.

You still get a different work method/result when translating the actor's full performances into a digital character than when you keep those two things separate.

The first was better tone wise. This one is just flat. I am not bothered by the CGI tbh.
