Half expected Meat Loaf to bust-in from some angle on his Harley with 'A Bat Out Of Hell' blasted on full volume accompanied with big blonde busted super Angels as they transcend into the misty red night sky.
We didn't get that but the music video vibes were strong with this visual feast horror film.
Plus Nicholas Cage going all vengefully insane is always a enjoyable watch.

It’s pretty good, but meanders too much and goes for anticlimactic finish(ers) against the promise. It’s still quite unforgettable, like a polaroid picture you can’t take your eyes off for some unknown reason. I’d like to see a sequel, but if it never happens Mandy will still live on in my mind... 4/5 🕷️
