The true story of an English boxer incarcerated in one of Thailand's most notorious prisons as he fights in Muay Thai tournaments to earn his freedom.
Directed by Jean-Stéphane Sauvaire (Johnny Mad Dog), starring Joe Cole, Vithaya Pansringarm and Panya Yimmumphai.

seems to be quite a good one, wouldn't mind catching it.

apparently the real-life Billy Moore makes an appearance in the movie

This was pretty damn good. It's raw, intense and Cole delivers a proper lead performance. It's quite a story, the real Moore has been through a lot of tough shit. Recommended.

I agree. It seems like no one even knows this is a thing? A24 is on radio silence about it.

I loved how it limits subtitles because Moore had no clue what anyone was saying most of the time. The one take fight scene in the middle was pretty cool as well.
