I could not follow anything that was going on in either of those trailers. There are only small whispers of fun, but the only thing I was thinking at the end was "Sony, stop trying to make Men in Black happen."
"Stop trying to make already lucrative and successful franchise happen"

Same feeling I had when the new Ghostbusters came out: Sony, stop trashing good franchises. Btw, Chris Hemsworth is in both movies. I don't know what kind of deal he has with them lol This one also looks awful, anyway.

The great thing about MIB was the chemistry between Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones. Period. You can't just get two another okay actors and expect the same result.

anyone see this yet?

really surprised by the reception, I imagined it wouldn't be amazing, but I'm a little shocked by how its getting skewered

I guess even HemsworthxThompson charm couldn't save it?

between this, Shaft, and Dark Phoenix I have like nothing to see in cinemas this weekend lol

It's been half a year, and I know there's a cool and hip guy who says it every year, but so far the movies have been just dreadful. With the exception of Us, Shazam! and Avengers, nothing that I've seen has been really good. And even from the films I haven't seen, only Booksmart seems to be getting really positive buzz (well, and now Toy Story 4). That's only 4 movies the entire year, 5 with TS4.
