Considering watching the show for the first time since it’s held to such esteem and the movie looks great. Does the film work well enough on its own or does it require watching the whole show beforehand?

I have to find the article but David Milch is in stage two of Alzheimer’s Disease. He’s literally a man against time, he’s been pretty prolific and should have some more work released soon.

no its thought of as one of the five best shows of all time because its "just people talking at each other in western clothing"
