Instead of the trilogy I mean. He gets to expand as much as he wants and there is no immediate pressure on delivering big bucks commercially.
Untitled Star Wars Film (2025)
I'm guessing D&D leaving preceded the Austin Fest Q&A by a while. They knew about Trevorrow for months before it was formally announced. I also don't think it's a coincidence they brought on Feige a month ago, back when we were scratching are heads how the timing makes sense between D&Ds trilogy seemingly in 2022, 2024 and 2026 and RJ's seemingly(?) in 2023, 2025, and 2027.
Well, now the timeline makes sense. Feige + RJ, unless RJ also walks away. Who knows.

Although I’d hate not seeing it in on a big screen, that wouldn’t be such a bad idea. But only if it gets an appropriate budget.Master Virgo wrote: ↑October 29th, 2019, 3:13 pmInstead of the trilogy I mean. as i just said to others on fb, my personal read of the D&D situation is that they got increasingly apprehensive for reason XYZ, got too over ambitious by signing up with Netflix, all while KK was over-steering for more control after R1/Solo/Trevorrow and those two extremes inevitably clashed disastrously
it sucks, i would've loved to see their version of KOTOR and the first jedi.
