Should be a great film. I hope they get a brilliant cast around Leonardo.

It's a Eastwood film. The rest of the cast will be text book perfect.

This should be amazing. It's a pity Joaquin Phoenix isn't playing the role of the deputy/lover, as was rumoured earlier..

After Changeling, Gran Torino, Invictus and Hereafter I'm not on the Eastwood bandwagon anymore. Even the good stuff he has done this decade feels like pure oscar bait. Why are these guys so fucking desperate to win the little golden man, make some daring stuff instead.
