I had a chance to see this movie today with some people and I passed. I was somewhat tempted but I doubt I'm missing out.

This would be one of those times.

I would have taken that into consideration if I cared about your opinion.

I love the first MIB. The second one was pretty stupid. This one seems like it's better than the second, but I'm just not hyped up enough to see it. Still, it might have been better than sitting on my couch all day in front of the tv.

It doesn't deserve bashing, as it's a nice little viewing that doesn't require much thought (which is weird considering there is time-travel) Bill Hader's cameo is nice, as is the weird sidekick - but by far the appearance of
Will Arnett playing a gay CIA agent
was just hysterical. Maybe it's because anything he's in is hilarious just because of him.

But apart from a well-intended finale and inventive aspects (all aliens that existed in the 60's looked exactly like 60's sci-fi movie aliens), it's nothing to go running to the theatre for.

Yeah, best bit out of the movie, honestly. Jemaine Clement was horribly miscast.
He played a great bad guy, but honestly, there are other people who could play bad guys as well, at least get him to be funny/awkward.

Keep in mind, I went to the movies to see Moonrise Kingdom, and then was disappointed to see it wasn't available till October.
