sooo true
tho I not really gonna bash the guy for not liking the film
He should respect it tho for its soundtrack alone
and really I don't understand how he found it that boring
I watched it when I was ten and found it pretty damn mind blowing but fucking weird and slow
I havent seen it since I was ten lol

Yeah, exactly. It's not exactly a 'casual' movie.
I watch it once a year. That's about all I can handle
Clockwork, Shining, and Eyes Wide Shut as well... I have yet to watch any of those this year yet
I really need to see Eyes Wide Shut. It's always looked interesting. The Shining is so terrifying, especially because my grandparents used to live literally next door to the hotel that it was based off of.

lol I love The Shining. I saw like a made for tv version as a kid that scared the shit out of me so the film itself didn't really scare me. That's awesome tho man! That hotel is aweseome. haha
And yeah man Eye's Wide Shut is great. There is a scene in the film that still creepys me the fuck out.

I haven't seen this movie in a long time but I always remember it as one of my favorites.
I think all the reasons somebody wouldn't like it are ultimately the reasons I like it lol. I even enjoyed the pace...I think it's a good movie to focus on and let it take you away somewhere. Still one of my most favorite representations of space...the pace itself makes you feel like your in space, the movie is slow but melodic in how it moves. My favorite thing about the movie is that feeling of watching something really important and how it really transported me away when I first watched it.
Oh and the production values are really good for the 60's.
