there is that one out of left field twist in the third act though

Yeah that scene was deliberately played like that. Honestly the only time movie ventured into actually silly territory.

He looked worn out in that video.
Anyway, I'm pretty much in agreement with most other people on here. I thought it was decent, but was surprised it didn't focus more on Laurie. Nothing's going to top the 1978 original, but this is and
Halloween 4 are the only decent sequels in the series. I'd give it 3/5.
