Looks... ok.

It's exactly what I thought it would be. It didn't blow me away with anything in the teaser so I'll wait for a longer full trailer for some sort of hook. This one didn't have the WOW factor and it looks like the film will mostly be put on Phoenix's acting shoulders. You can already see a tremendous physical transformation (that's the one thing I didn't expect) but from the clips I also see the potential of him maybe taking the role a bit too far and haming it up too much.

Oh, and Zazie and Joaquin's scene in the diner is my favorite part of the teaser. Looking forward to this "romance".

So far I'm not more or less excited for the movie than I've been before seeing the teaser. Maybe the next one should show some De Niro clips to get me more excited.

Having a fascinating general story or great visuals to help. So far it's EXACTLY what I expected, a character piece and mostly all on Phoenix. I was hopong for there being something more to the film... but like I said, it's just a teaser

Joaquin always delivers, but I really hope Todd does as well. So far, so good.
