I know. It just stood out to me. It never stood out to me whenever I saw Cate Blanchett as Elizabeth.
This looks fine although the "sister" line is just going to keep people confusing Mary Stuart with Mary Tudor. Suppose it keeps history teachers employed

The acting seems nice.
I enjoyed the 1998 Elizabeth a lot and I own the Jarrot 1971 film on DVD, though I have yet to watch it. But I am always interested in historical costume dramas so I hope this film here will be good.

This was okay. Just standard period piece movie.
Great costumes, loved the makeup for Elizabeth, and the acting was fantastic. If Ronan and Robbie weren't in it, this movie would have been really dull.
