"lmao @ this show... i think it's just me but i'm tired of stupid scenes and cliches...

5 minutes into the first episode and LMAO at a dozen of cops shooting towards a guy and not one of them hit him in like 20-30 seconds.... that's so lame I lol'd so hard... no seriously.... I just stopped the show right there... what the heck were those cops? amateurs? that single scene is such a cliche and such a stupid cliche that filmmakers tend to repeat each time...

since when a dozen cops are not trained to shoot and hit a target in less than 50 meters... in 30 seconds ????

not to mention there were 3 guys in that car .... vs a dozen cops... after 2 minutes of furious stupid firing 2 got hit down... (aw god thanks) but hey... one is alive... and shoots this cop... and not one single other cop saw him when he got out of that car???? lmao... damn those cops are dumb and amateurs...

I'll skip that scene and move on... give it another chance but if the whole series will have the same "credibility" as that first scene then this show will fail.."

Worst logic ever? You must hate movies like Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, The Bourne Series, Casino Royale, any Zombie movie ever created, Blood Diamond...basicly any action movie ever created then right? If you are gonna throw a hissy fit over that when there are far cornier things in most action movies than you need to tone down your standards.

I'm sorry to disappoint but it's not the worst logic ever. I can get into corny but I can't get into something too stupid and brainless. And what you say it's the same thing as... "You need to dumb it down to fully appreciate this" ... WOW that's such an achievement for a film no? I'll make tomorrow a show about zombies and I'll take one zombie who runs the entire country and kill 100.000.000 people but he movies slow as hell and no bullet could ever hit him... would you watch that? Cuz it's corny and stupid... would make me famous and give me money for a show/movie like that?

No seriously. It's not about dumbing down it's about "realism", "sense", "logic" and all of that.. things that Batman Begins and the Dark Knight do have in a way since they don't have stupid situations in them... It's one thing to shoot a bazooka from a moving truck and other thing to have a dozen cops not hitting one god damn person in less than 50 meters in over more than 30 seconds... Not to mention it's not the same thing with having a dozen cops poiting they're guns at the enemy and for some "dumb" reason nobody sees him when he gets away and shoot this other cop... LOL... that you will not see in Zombieland or any other good film because it's not logical... it doesn't make sense and people will be like.. "lol and this movie supposed to be serious?" .... was that the only way you could have gotten that cop shot? That dumb way was the only way?... LOL

Now I gave the show it's chances I watched the first 2 episodes and I must say this... The story is interesting, catchy and has a good premise but where the show lose points is in "realism" in "logic" and in acting... People say this is a rip-off from 28 Days Later well I'm sorry but it isn't because 28 Days Later ain't corny.... other than that... whoever likes the show good for him... but I can't watch a show that's ridiculously made full of stupid/unnecessary/dumb scenes/situations which in any sort of realism will not happen unless you're in a cartoon or a low-budget movie with a "low-budget scenario"... It's sad because this show interested me since I'm a big fan of zombie movies but this is disappointing because I can't watch something stupid happening each time because it doesn't make sense and doesn't fit the story... there are so many points were things will go different in real life... You could make a zombie movie but at least make it look realistic or something close to that that the viewer could skip on and say "well yeah, pass that it's a movie" but these specific scenes are not at all like that bur more like "you fu*king kidding me? what is this?"... And you compare this to Lost???  At least that show with all it's storyline imperfections and complexity had realism... when they shot someone from less than 50 meters be sure they also hit them in less than 10 seconds... Not only that but everything else...

I still hope for a true zombie series like 28 Days Later ... :!:

I beg to disagree, RIFA. I thought that the first two episodes were very well shot in a gripping and realistic manner. The cast has been great so far - Rick and the dad in the pilot, in particular.
I've been a huge fan of the comic by Robert Kirkman which has been going on for about 7 years now, and I believe that Frank Darabont will do a helluva job in adapting this and making the show as awesome and brutal as possible.

you might be right about the way the movie is shot... but i'm not talking about how is shot I'm talking about those situations which in real life could never happen... matter of fact... they must be blind and point stupid to do what they did in those scenes... I don't realize how people don't see that I mean it's not that hard...

You have to remember that these guys aint the FBI or some elite Marines.. They are some cops in some hick town in suburban America. It's perfectly plausible for these people to make mistakes like this. :-)

yeah. except for the fact that I saw tens and tens if not hundreds of videos and news were these cops from some hick towns in suburban America were doing their job better even than some of those "urban" trained swat guys ...

Once, 3 police cars, chased a car, the car hit another car and jumped into the near-by corn field... the guy from the car was armed and dangerous he got out and shot at the police... next thing you know... 2 police officers... "two" aimed at that guy and after 4-5 shots that guy was dead... you know why? because it happened in real life where even these "small" officers know how to aim and shoot properly... don't forget that many of them know how to shoot better than a city-cop because they live in suburban areas while those city-cops hardly pull a gun to hit someone in their entire career... it's harder/difficult to shoot in a city than in some hick town.... so my problem remains the same...

Another cliche that I noticed and I laughed because I saw that in every movie... when that black guy aims the shotgun and asks "how did you get that wound?" (or something like that)... the guy just stood there... looked and then... fainted out.... lmao... I said he will faint before the black dude shot that zombie in the head.... that's how lame that moments was to me.. :D

Let's just agree to disagree then, RIFA. You didn't like it. We liked it. End of story.
