i’m now wondering if a few people just knew about spoilers and ended up developing fan theories around them, because the thought of people reaching that conclusion organically just seems like a fucking stretch

Ep07
Yes, I was thinking that maybe my definition of a good reveal is different, I have to think about that. Still, at the moment I didn't feel any satisfaction - maybe because it served as the cliffhanger for the episode, so there was no room for exploring the implications of the reveal. We'll have to see next week
Yeah, well don't jump on me, please, I didn't want to universally say that only one type of reveal works, sorry if it came off like that. And that's a whole other story of why and how reveals and foreshadowing and etc works on TV, in literature, on film, which is interesting on its own... but for now, I merely wanted to express that I kind of think that this whole thing could be interesting, but they way it was handled wasn't really exciting for me.
maybe it'll work better for you in retrospect when you see the next 2 episodes. leftovers often operated that way. I also wonder if binging it magnified this effect you're feeling right now.DHOPW42 wrote: ↑December 2nd, 2019, 1:05 pmYeah, well don't jump on me, please, I didn't want to universally say that only one type of reveal works, sorry if it came off like that.
