The way I would want to do it would be almost beyond 2001 in terms of authenticity-no just with no sound in space, but almost looking like the 16mm footage that the Apollo astronauts shot

Good. Most likely limited in Dec to qualify for oscars but will go wide in Jan. Probably was the plan all along tbh.

If Hoyte does a good job on this movie, I really hope he wins his Oscar. No Lubezki or Deakins to take it from him this year. Sandgren is probably gonna be a strong contender, but after Dunkirk Hoyte is definitely overdue.
