yep that's some CG* extravaganza that needs a lot more work imo
also dat american nationalism
*doing as much as possible for real goes a long way as Nolan showed. I understand that using CG to bring these insane battles to live makes sense given the scope but I mean, some real explosions would've worked really well...

First Michael Bay and now Emmerich.
Good job at cheapening what happened at Pearl Harbor.

I don't get this, are they again showing Japanese planes shooting at civilians and hospitals? Wasn't it already explained after the Bay film (17 years ago) that the Japanese never did that?
Also, the CGI looks... worse than the Bay film, I think:D

That opening was good, but then...yeah.
Well, at least this trailer gave a renewed appreciation for Dunkirk.
Not just how subdued Dunkirk was in tone and action but also the casting; this puts it into stark contrast just how perfectly cast Dunkirk was.

Looks really good in some shots and I like the cast. Poor CGI, the propaganda is strong with this one and I don't like war movies. So mark me as mixed but if it's at least a fun action movie I'll give it a shot.
