Just started Blood and Wine for the first time, bought all the books too.

It’s all going to be based on the series of books. Season 1 is all adapted from his short stories which are essential to setting up the main novels.
I have The Last Wish and Sword of Destiny so seems like I'm set.

To be precise it's based on first two.
