Is there anything close to De Niro/Scorsese in terms of actor/director partnership?

I mean, it was already all-time great, but now with this and Irishman, their collaboration will have a 47-year span and ten films (most of them being classics and I assume these next two are going to be at least very good)

Scorsese and DiCaprio is getting close to his partnership with DeNiro tbh.

Eric Roth about the project
https://www.thewrap.com/star-is-born-wr ... lady-gaga/
He has been working on Scorsese’s film for “probably five years,” however.

“Martin is the most inventive man I’ve ever worked with — certainly, he encourages you to be the most imaginative and I have a good imagination… It’s set between 1920 and 1925, and I think it can be one of the last great Westerns. He wants to make one big Western — this will be the last of its kind, I promise you.”
Can't wait !

Obviously I knew there was a huge Native American element to this story but did not expect them to make a Western?! This is awesome news, that’s very different for Scorsese.

Killers of the Flower Moon, I think, is one of the great stories that one could tell. I think any good writer would do this justice; it’s such a powerful piece, and it’ll be Marty Scorsese basically doing a Western.

Things don’t happen always as you want, but I would say it would be late next summer, he’d start [shooting], early fall. I know how much [Scorsese] loves it, and I’m just sending literally this morning the last of this iteration of the script. Then, I’m sure we’ll start rewriting again.

The more I hear about this the more it sounds like a more thematically rich and relevant story to tell than Devil.
