I'm pretty sure they were never going with an age-accurate actor for Paul Atreides. It's just too young. Not to forget that having an Oscar Nominee (by the time it comes out perhaps even double Nominee) is a nice extra for the lead or your film. And Chalamet is sexy af, which helps too lol.
Anyway, I'm hoping for someone like Christian Bale or Viggo Mortensen (perhaps he's too old...) for the role of Duke Leto. I mean, look at Bale at Chalamets age. They do resemble each in other in a way. And I think he's the right age now.

I wished Johann Johannsson was still alive. Can't believed his firing from Blade Runner that pretty much got him to go into that deep end.
I hope he does. Their 2049 score was fantastic.
