I'll answer you in another way: Roma's greatest confound is that its already going to win best foreign film, not that it's too art house.

If Cuaron wins best director this year 5 out of the last 6 best director winners are one of the 3 amigos. :lol: Insane.

It actually screened the same night as Roma, Mulligan was there but I chose Roma instead. I think it opens in Chicago sometime this month. We'll see when. Between my day job and whatever else life is super busy and going to the theaters 1-2x a week (CIFF excluded) I can still barely keep up with everything.

Halloween, Mid90s too. I'm interested in it though.

Well seeing Roma over it was a no brainer since it’s Cuaron/more acclaimed and the fact it’s netflix. Like you mentioned, will be tough to see on big screen.

Just got confirmation, I get to see this on the big screen in Amsterdam in december! In 4K nonetheless 8-)

From December till early January 2019 the Eye Filmmuseum in Amsterdam North will be the only theater to show Roma. There will be some more from January on, but it hasn't been revealed which ones.

Hope I get to see this once again in theatres. What a beast of a film. Don't think any upcoming film of 2018 is going to come close for me.
