Sorry to Bother You

I'm in fucking awe, this movie is insane. Boots Riley is on a whole nother level, great debut, and he wrote all of the music too! Cast was fantastic, standout was Lakeith Stanfield who continues to amaze after Get Out and Atlanta, this dude is going places. Armie Hammer continues to show off how he seems to be a great character actor in a hunk's body, like Brad Pitt. Editing was cool, super original writing with great pacing too! I had a minor problem with a secondary storyline which might be cleared up on a second viewing. But all around, crazy fucking movie.

Ant Man and the Wasp

Hands down most entertaining marvel since civil war. And it's superbly paced.

McKenna's Gold

Insufferable bore. Can't believe same guy directed Cape Fear. More importantly can't believe that this was the highest grossing Hollywood film in India for two decades until Jurrasic Park. Extremely puzzling fact. Will have to look more into this

East of Eden

Both Dean and Kazan at their peak. If I go by this film's reputation, it seems pretty underrated. But I feel it was an extremely well realized drama. Few scenes are just heartbreaking. And yeah this one also gives a fair idea why James Dean is James Dean.

Dean hugging Massey and Massey just going "Cal... Cal!" is one of the greatest bit of improv in cinema history, surely.

Yeah I read about that part being improvised. And when I mentioned heartbreaking, I was specifically referring to this entire scene.
