Yeah,Escape From New York is a great madcap ride.
Also, whenever I watch the film I'm always taken back by the fact Ernest Borgnine
is in it.

The sequel is pretty awful though.

BlacKkKlansman, which gradually becomes Lee's best since Do the Right Thing. Give Terence Blanchard an Oscar already, too, even if he did use the Inside Man score again for the (heartbreaking) conclusion.

Impressive debut. More effective than most thrillers lately. Recommended!

Short review.

Rebel without a cause
Director : Nicholas Ray
Year : 1955

Nicholas Ray's Rebel Without a Cause is justifiably regarded as a cinematic classic. With its multilayered themes, its beautifully pleasing cinematography and its powerful depiction of teen angst through believable performers.None more so than James Dean ,as Jim, who's internal struggles are brilliantly portrayed as he dominates every scene with his anxieties with striking effect.

This was really good. Great lead performance, script and direction. Very impressive Benigni did both lead and direct.

Loved this. That security camera sequence is one of my favorites of the year. Lynne Ramsay for Bond 25

Crazy Rich Asians- great enjoyable fun with some good drama spliced in. Constance Wu and Gemma Chan should become movie stars after this. Awkwafina steals every scene she’s in, absolutely hilarious. Michelle Yeoh is fantastic. Honestly, the ladies completely steal the show here.

It's good isn't it. Still think it's the best 2018 release thus far. Ramsay would be wonderful for Bond.

Would Ramsey take the Bond director role if it was offered her way ?
Cant imagine her doing a tentpole film and ,likely, being creatively restricted, much like we've supposedly found here out with regards Danny Boyle.
Though I've been wrong before, perfect example being recently with Rian Johnson.

I do love Ramsey's work though. We Need To Talk About Kevin really got under my skin in a good way.

Oh,and Life Is Beautiful is a really great film.
One of those films where I seem to recommend it to everyone I meet yet they still dont check it out.Their loss. ;)
