Hauntingly beautiful. Part Gothic fairy tale, part black comedy. An unrequited love story of mystical proportions.

THOROUGHBREDS

An equally chilling and often uncomfortable black comedy. The film depicts the unsettling horror of showing you everything by showing you nothing. I love that it doesn't shy away from darkness by backing away from its premise. It opens a door and it goes all the way through. Olivia Cooke and Anya Taylor-Joy were delightful and disturbing.

This rocked and wasn't what I was expecting.

Underseen gem if there ever was one. Kind of a precursor to American Beauty in many ways.

Hutton's subsequent career is one of the more astonishing wastes of Hollywood. For whatever reason... too much "art" (like Lumet's only occasionally successful Daniel) and not enough commerce I guess. Was nice to see him pop up in Ridley Scott's latest

Just watched it. Beautiful film. Definitely deserves a proper remaster.

What in the actual fuck. A very poor adaptation of a great book. Can't say I actually appreciated a single thing of this film.

The mini-series is up next, I heard that was a better adaptation than Lynch' film. Anybody here who has seen the mini-series?

Anyway, I thought Herbert's book was amazing, going to start reading Dune Messiah soon. And bring it on Villeneuve, I have faith in you.
