well in that case I guess I'll have to wait to see Asa Butterfield as Ash, Annasophia Robb as Misty, Taylor Lautner as Brock, and Andy Serkis as every pokemon

Wouldn't it look awful in live-action?

Anyway, I think Black and White are the only games with a storyline interesting enough for a movie (haven't played XY).

Really depends on the style. Like are they gonna go for the art style seen in in the commercials for the games or are they gonna Michael Bay it and add way too much detail? I think they'd need a balance.
