Seems like Legendary, WB and Sony are bidding for the rights of Pokemon. It'd be the first live-action film made about the Japanese global hit.

Animated films, yes, not yet live-action. That's what the bidding war is about.

Anyway, I think Black and White are the only games with a storyline interesting enough for a movie (haven't played XY).

Really depends on the style. Like are they gonna go for the art style seen in in the commercials for the games or are they gonna Michael Bay it and add way too much detail? I think they'd need a balance.
