So yeah, the Shadow of The Colossus remake? Absolutely breathtaking. I'm only on an OG PS4 and 1080p, and the visuals are just stunning. Feels surreal. The fur, the water, the particles, so gorgeous.

They truly did an amazing job and yet sometimes I wander (no pun intended, or was it?) onto gaming forums and every once in a while I see a post like “The original is much better” or this game “has no atmosphere” and wonder what they are smoking.

I can actually kinda see where they're coming from. A lot of what made the original so visually striking was this dreamlike quality through its use of bloom and colour palette. While the remake is incredible to look at, some of that feeling is gone in a lot of areas. It looks much more grounded this time. And there are one or two visual changes that just strike me as odd, such as the changes to Wander's face. It kinda reminds me of the criticism regarding The Dark Knight's blu-ray release and how it messed with the colours.

But I can look past these as nitpicks and still be in awe of the game.

How many times can I delete Overwatch before I finally never bring it back on any of my hard drives, THAT is the question.

This was 40 levels ago. :I

Hero 27 (Brigitte, Torn’s daughter?) is coming - hype!

Either way, the return to these settings is much welcomed.

Meh. I don’t care about the setting as long as the gameplay/story are actually worthwhile. Perhaps they should switch to bi-yearly release schedule.

I’m actually starting to get excited for Far Cry 5, anyone else here at all?

If I hear good things the season pass definitely will be worth it. They already detailed what’s going to be in it looks good and if you get the season pass you get Far Cry 3 classic edition.
