Henry Cavill would be a great pick for Bond.

I'm so delighted that the Broccolis never pick who the fans think should be Bond. Except Pierce who... yeah, was kinda only ever the fan concept Bond and nothing beyond that.

Cavill, like John Gavin and a few other would-be Bonds have the look but not much else required. As much as I like Cavill in Fallout it's because the character is a berk. Not because he's cool. Because... he's really not.

Not a chance. Perhaps back in the days (trying to find him a spot... real hard) but not after Craig. He lacks the necessary depth and moves pretty mechanically, still needs lots more experience before even attempting that audition.
And in Fallout he plays the character you hate, a brute.
I don’t see how anyone can watch him there and think this is my new Bond.🕷️

The Man from U.N.C.L.E. begs to differ. Cavill's performance there is the closest thing to Bond he's done and it was very convincing.

I'm sure that with the right director Cavill could end up being a great Bond. Sure, Craig is a very talented actor and we got the most layered Bond yet with him but it's not all thanks to him. He's gotten two fantastic scripts to work with (Casino Royale and Skyfall).

I think it's more important to get Nolan on board before they find their new Bond.
