Halfway through, and the show surpasses any preconceived notions I had on a suspense series based on a computer hacker.
I am enjoying it more than this season's True Detective.
The flaws are there but limited and not cringe inducing (see above).
The writing and Malek are doing an excellent job of keeping me emotionally invested in Elliot.
I loved last week's hallucinations episode with his morphine withdrawals.
My Beautiful Mind & Fight Club type concerns that Elliot is engineering Mr. Robot and his fsociety compatriots have been tentatively erased.
Even though Elliot had less this week, Malek still takes MVP while Tyrell is slowly becoming my new favorite small screen psycho -- Patrick Bateman.
Music selection was great from "Pictures of You" to "Two Weeks" to "Hand Covers Bruise".

Initially, my thoughts were Tyrell was going to either throw Sharon off the roof or seduce her.
