didn't you just give somebody shit for commenting on a movie they haven't seen

I think I complained about someone discrediting someone's opinion to a movie they haven't seen, that's not what I am doing here at all. I'm not giving my opinion, just going off what you and others are saying. Sight unseen how Wes handled the Japanese/human character elements seem sort of questionable.

I actually can discuss a review (Chang’s) and what it’s saying, thank you.

Without engaging with the text itself? No.

This afternoon.

Unfortunately I stayed up way too late last night and forgot I had work in the morning. Here's to hoping I can successfully power nap before I go see the movie.

Thoughts on the film and Wes Anderson, Allstar?
I haven't seen this yet but I like Wes a lot. Stop being so sensitive.

LMAO at allstar. Dat’s good shit. Almost as good as this movie. I’ve gotta see it a second time, I’m pretty sure it’s my fav Wes movie (out of the ones I’ve seen)

I'm really not a big Wes fan and I really enjoyed it.

It's definitely the one with the best narrative pacing imo

Excellent excellent excellent.

This movie bites off a little too much than it can chew at the end, though. (no pun intended)

I thought Tracy came off as a "white savior," and it bothered me a bit.
