Mackenzie deserves a better franchise. Terminator reached Olimpus peaks with T2 and whatever they attempted after that was just pathetic in comparison.

I won't do it too soon. Tim Miller was able to achieve wonders with the budget Deadpool had, so I hope he'll approach Terminator the same way.

There's no way they'd strip this back, unless I'm missing some news. Cameron's involved, right? He's not exactly the best when it comes to maintaining a reasonable budget on any project. He'll have more throw over this than anyone might expect if his interviews are to go by.
