It's first episode is titled 'Pilot' which is really strange since it wasn't ordered as a pilot. Hell when they announced the show they hadn't cast Firestorm yet so I don't get why it's seen as a pilot.

Okay, apparently it's called "Pilot Part 1" meaning it's two parts.
It also means that the people making the show clearly don't understand what the word 'pilot' actually means.
