If it sells, sure. I'm scared of the future. But also thrilled of possible quality of this latest book - can't wait to tackle it!

My copies shipped today, I think, should arrive shortly next week.

How would you compare it with other three, ranking maybe?
Are they identical twins or? If not maybe Kate Mara. She's wicked anyway.

I'd say....(this may change as I think about it)
1. Dragon Tattoo
2. Spider's Web
3. Hornet's Nest
4. Played With Fire
not identical - if Kate can make herself info a total seductive mega-classy love-at-first-sight bombshell who happnens to also be a psychopath and megalomaniac, then yes.

That's pretty high, thanks!

But yeah what you're describing is more younger Rosamund Pike.

Indeed, and tbh given she worked with Fincher before, if he does do an adaptation of this, I can totally see him get her.

Why do I have a feeling he burned all the bridges with Sony... and HBO...

Fuck I feel like we've hit another dry period without Fincher, similar to his post Panic Room days.

Niiiiice.

Fire is actually my favorite of the trilogy. But I love them all.

Getting my copy in a few days. Can't wait and am hoping for more books with the good reviews (I sadly gave up on any more Mara/Craig movies)
