Don't you dare cast Johansson or Portman; Rooney for life. I really like Fede Alvarez, but fuck this reboot.

Yeah, they're both horrible choices. However, I am willing to give them a chance to cast someone who can be good who is not Rooney.

Vikander was probably the only passable pick in my book, but since she's no longer attached, I have no idea. I would have said Rebecca Ferguson, but I think she's 5 years too late for it.

I suspect that's who they're going to go with, and it honestly wouldn't be a bad choice, and Levy deserves a proper breakout role.

Alvarez should go fuck himself if he doesn't cast Levy. Then again Sony might want a bankable face.£

Yeah, I'm all in for Levy and I think it will be Fede's choice, unless the studio says otherwise.

Sucks we'll never get Fincher's take on the sequels with Mara, Craig and Wright    Genuinely think Fincher's Dragon Tattoo is a better adaptation of Larsson's first book than the Swedish film.

I haven't read Spider's Web yet but I don't feel too eager to delve into it.
