Also, TFA has just as much CGI trickery as the Prequels did. It's just better.

Of course I said "did", we've had TFA after all.

As for TFA's VFX, no shit, since the Prequels did it when the technology wasn't really there yet.

Hard for me to say which of the two is better, because they are better at different things.

All I am sure of is Rogue One at #1.

This is basically just a big SW discussion thread outside of the main films. I think I'd rank them like this atm (This can change at anytime) from best to worst:

Subjective: V = IV > III > VI > VIII = VII >> RO > I > II

Objective: V > IV > VI = III > VIII > VII > RO > I > II

The Last Jedi is terrible, coming after Empire. Lucas missed the point entirely.

6-7. The Phantom Menace/Attack Of The Clones (They're probably worse than Rouge One but I haven't seen them since I was a child so I can't judge them compared to Rouge One. As a child I liked Phantom better.)
8. Rouge One
9. Revenge Of The Sith

Man, I really like all of these films. Even Clones which is the only one without a truly great scene in it.£
