Kind of a bittersweet ending, I think. I believe the Russo's will do a good job, but in part I would have liked for Whedon to end this.

Winter Soldier was considerably better than The Avengers, so for now it seems as a good decision. Though I have to say I still think this should have been done by Gunn.£

I dont really follow Marvel news day-to-day, but are The Guardians of the Galaxy expected to show up/play a big role?

Tough to see them in a Russos movie based on Winter Soldier's tone, no?

Well Thanos is involved and Adam Warlock has one of the Infinity Stones embedded in his forehead in the comics so I'd be pretty surprised if they aren't somehow involved. Maybe not directly showing up but Guardians 2 definitely leads into it.
