The Warner Bros. and DC news continues to pour in. We just found out that Justice League will make its way into theaters in 2017 and that Justice League 2 will follow it up in 2019, but DC Entertainment just sent out an official press release with more information on the films.

Zack Snyder will direct both of them, which the press release refers to as Justice League Part One and Justice League Part Two. On top of that, it also confirms that Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill and Amy Adams will all reprise their roles for Justice League Part One, but makes no mention of their involvement in Justice League Part Two. justice-league-movie-zack-snyder-imageThis information comes from Warner Bros.’ Chairman and CEO Kevin Tsujihara who said that the studio’s aggressive strategy with all of its properties is geared towards upping profits and also “doubling down on outstanding content, working with the best talent and maintaining the culture that makes Warner Bros. so great.” He also added this:

“The demand for high quality video content is growing fast – in the United States and around the world – as new technologies have created new platforms and millions of new connected consumers. The opportunity is huge. And no studio is better positioned to take advantage of it than Warner Bros.”
