This is going to be your father’s Mowgli. I’m not a father (yet) but I grew up rading the book first so I can’t wait to see this version!

Darker than the Disney version, but those animals look fake as... damn... as fake can get.

However, that being said, the animals actually don't look that great. If they need a lot of time to work on it, don't do a bunch of close up reveals in the trailer. *shrugs*

Well sure, but I’m seeing a composition here, an overarching story that seems to be working what it’s supposed to. Feels like a grand epic from a perspective of a lost boy. And that mo-cap talent, phew. Really liking the visuals in the village as well.
