I was watching some trailers for some new documentaries and I thought... hey maybe I missed some good documentaries so... If you seen specific documentaries which you enjoyed post them and talk about them. This way maybe we would inspire others to see more documentaries also. It could be about anything. Historical, sports, douches and cocktails...

What are the best or your favorite documentaries you've seen? And please extrapolate on what they're about.

One trailer that I saw right now is this one...

Film Socialisme by Jean-Luc Goddard.

Official Synopsis: "Legendary director Jean-Luc Godard returns to the screen with Film Socialisme, a magisterial essay on the decline of European Civilization. As a garish cruise ship travels the Mediterranean (with Patti Smith among its guests), Godard embarks on a state of the EU address in a vibrant collage of philosophical quotes, historical revelations and pure cinematographic beauty."

Damn I always wanted to see that one... I feared at the beginning it won't deliver a clear inside look of a platoon squad but many told me it's fascinating...

Planet Earth is a tv show, but it should count. 11 episodes of awesomeness! According to IMDb, it's considered to be the greatest tv show of all time [irrespective of genre].

Hell yeah! I'm just amazed that they were able to shoot a documentary in a weird places like that. It must've been hard for the crew. Oh, and David Attenborough's voice is great!

EDIT: Do you guys recommend me to watch The Fog of War? I haven't watched many documentaries, and I want to watch some really good ones.
