Well, Edwards said his favorite Godzilla film after the original is Destroy All Monsters, so that might be the foundation for this.

WHICH WOULD BE AWESOME.

Im happy about this. I hope Watanabe gets a small role (even a cameo is fine). Other than that, a completely different cast and more Godzilla and it could top the first one.
