I hope Fincher's next film will be a massive box office hit so it can give him some leverage when it comes to at least one future project. He's always in a clinch with studios not wanting to give him all the money he thinks he needs for his films.

First movie was average anyway. Nothing I need to see more than once. Fincher just wasted his time on some zombie blockbuster when he could have been making something truly fucked up.

Gone Girl was a massive box office hit yet studios aren't giving him the budget he needs.

Ah yes that's true. Then I honestly don't know why they don't want to give him the money he thinks he needs. It's been so long without a Fincher film to begin with.

I'm so fucking depressed just thinking about my boy Fincher's future. I want more movies from him and Gone Girl feels like ages ago.

Well it has been four and a half years... The Fincher film draught is taking it's tolls.

I really hope David can be back as soon as possible with a great and ambitious project.
