i think the differences between Jonah's Interstellar script and Nolan's speak volumes to their differing sensibilities

if you and anyone else haven't read his I recommend it.you can very much see it fit into Spielberg's filmography

S1 is confused mess but S2 is total mess. Entire final episode is just revelations after revelations which were held back for entire season and the jumbled timelines were written to accommodate that. In fact, S2 is not even as enjoyable as S1 outside of 2 episodes.
