The thing I noticed is that fewer and fewer films have title sequences that list all the main cast and the most important members of the production team. Instead we get endless lists of people at the end where previously there were only a few people. Any idea as to why that is?

Well, to get them out of the way first, TDK and TDKR for obvious reasons we all know.
EDIT: OH SURE LET'S CHANGE THE THREAD TO TITLE SEQUENCES NOW TO MAKE ME LOOK LIKE AN ASS.
Also, can't find a good quality video of it, but the opening scene of Saving Private Ryan at the cemetery.
