What do you personally like about it? Go in depth, I love reading detailed responses :]Thedarknight628 wrote:One of my favorite films.MiracleSleeper2 wrote:V for Vendetta - 9.5/10
Smart, haunting, emotional, beautiful.... the list goes on and on. And my god, Weaving gives one hell of a performance.
The main character was what made the film for me. Portman was great as well but V had an amazing presence every time he was on screen. I love how much emotion Weaving could show just from his own voice alone. The idea of futuristic totalitarian governments in film, video games, and books has always interested me and I think that made me appreciate the movie more. The last scene of the movie was my favorite due to how v isn't just a man but an idea and this idea could inspire and has inspired ordinary people to stand up against a higher and unfair rule.MiracleSleeper2 wrote:What do you personally like about it? I totally agree. For me, what makes the movie is...Thedarknight628 wrote: The main character was what made the film for me. I wouldn't give the credit to Alan Moore.MiracleSleeper2 wrote:I totally agree. For me, what makes the movie is...Thedarknight628 wrote: The main character was what made the film for me. Well I give credit to the Wachowski's as well, but the main source material is Alan Moore.11072014 wrote:I wouldn't give the credit to Alan Moore.MiracleSleeper2 wrote:I totally agree.
