With the annual Steam Summer Sale upon us in less than a day, I decided to make this thread so as to keep the Video Game thread from getting too clogged up over the next week or so.
What're you guys planning on getting during the sale? I'm hoping to nab:
Walking Dead/400 Days DLC
Skyrim/Dawnguard/Dragonborn/Hearthfire
Assassins Creed 2 (Already bought 3, Revelations and Brotherhood via amazon)
Ah, I forgot to mention that. It's sort of like a video game version of Itunes, where you can purchase and download games. Often steam will have various items onsale for various prices, accomodating for drops and such. During the summer and winter, though, they'll have a massive, massive sale on most of their inventory, usually around 75-90% off.
For example, games that are usually at 19.99 can get as low as 4-7 bucks.
Steam's a site that lets you download digital copies of games to your computer, often at a semi-reasonable price compared to store shelves. For instance, I bought Fallout 3 GotY edition for 20 bucks.
You can get Half Life II for like, 4 dollars, so I'm doing that.
