That's the same feeling I'm getting. Fuck the critics. Ebert is no longer around to school them unfortunately.

Ebert wasn't schooling anyone for years, believe me.

He schooled me. He's the one that got me started on looking at films deeper than face-value. Ebert was special. Period.

Just remember Iron Man 3 had over 230 reviews and this one still is at like 45+ Give it some time. Also some of these reviews are making no sense at all.

And how is a B- and C+ a rotten when reviews for IM3 had the same scores and got a fresh?

If the reviews for the 3D are good, I may, may check it out in 3D.
Sort of jealous of you 2D people. I tried to get them when the advanced tickets went on sale, but they were trying to sell 3D so I had no choice. They didn't start doing 2D until 2 weeks before release and those went fast.

I'll live, but I'm not a 3D movie person.
When I first bought my ticket I didn't have the 2D IMAX option either. It wasn't until this past weekend that those went on sale in my area.

And I know how you feel. I'm not a 3D person either, but I've been thinking of giving it another chance.

I really don't get why everyone gets so worked up over reviews and RT scores and all the other bullshit.

I'm always mystified as to why people get worked up in a tizz over RT or Metacritic ratings or even critical reception.

The only response to the film that matters is your own.
