I literally lost all interest in future Marvel projects. Spidey was meant to be one of most important post Endgame characters, which we saw in Far from home.

Iron Man is dead, Cap is dead, Black Widow is dead and Spidey is dead

When your mind is set on whining you will always find something to do it for.

Anyway maybe it's time for Marvel to bring back
Ty Simpkins for the new placeholder of Iron Man, until Iron Woman comes of age.

How did you prove him wrong though? If anything he's more correct now than he was then.
All the characters dusted away were brought back. Gamora is alive. Actors at the end of their contracts said their goodbyes. And Loki's death, which this guy actually called a great moment, was negated for a series on Disney Plus (which I guess was called as FuckNetflix during development lmao).

What is this "end of contact" thing you keep talking about? I don't understand. End of contract means no way two parties can ever work with each other again? Even if their last partnership resulted in billion dollar lvl of money?
Downey and Evans were canceled at the peak of their popularity, for the sake of storytelling. What other studio has ever done that other than WB/Nolan?
Point being you can't complain about Marvel not killing characters for real and then complain about them killing characters for real at the same time. Doesn't really make any sense.

They should just canned Holland/MCU Spiderman and keep it on hold for the time being. Fuck, I never like the MCU Peter Parker version especially because of Iron Man/Tony Stark creating/giving him all the gadgets. This will give them time to introduced the Spider-verse characters. Reintroduce Tobey Maguire as an aging Spiderman and have him pass his torch to a new Spiderman. But the problem is that what are they going to do with the CGI version? I mean why not be creative? Why not introduce/create new villians and or Superheroes that doesn't have to do with the comics? Just expand the Spiderman universe with new characters.

Doing a Miles Morales movie with Raimi and Maguire returning would be such an op idea for Sony. Never going to happen though unfortunately.

No. What I'm saying is that Tobey passing his torch to another Spiderman(whiteboy). Miles Morales will be in his own alternative Universe/Spiderverse. They need to be creative and break away from the comics.

I don't know if this is the wrong thread. I don't know if there even is a right thread.

Reading more and more about this situation and looking at reactions on social media, it's kind of sad seeing people defend corporations so much.

At first I thought the "little guy (Sony) stands up to big guy (Disney)" story was a bit charming, but now I'm kind of disgusted with myself for thinking that because Sony is still a pretty big corporation.

And it's not this particular instance where I've felt this. I guess all I'm saying is just watch yourself when it comes to defending and praising corporations.

Fuck Disney/Marvel. I hope Sony doesn't cave in and letting go of Spiderman to Disney like what idiotic people at Fox did. We wouldn't have gotten R-rated Deadpool and Logan. Some amazing X-men movies and ect. Fox should have done what Sony did and just license the characters to Disney/Marvel.
