Saying a film is a true 10/10 means that you believe there can never be a film that impress you more, I don't believe I've seen such a film yet.£
Then boy have I got a film for you!Master Virgo wrote:Saying a film is a true 10/10 means that you believe there can never be a film that impress you more, I don't believe I've seen such a film yet.£
Mendes' American Beauty
Jackson's The Lord of the Rings
Nolan's The Dark Knight, and maybe Inception?
Fincher's The Social Network
Just a few 10/10 films from a couple directors. I'm still considering what films by Kubrick and Spielberg deserve the 10/10 rating.
EDIT: Add Coppola's The Godfather Part II.

Extended or theatrical?Master Virgo wrote:It most definitely is, see, my list of ten favorite films are different. Here they are:Bacon wrote:I always thought RotK was your favorite movie.
To 10 Favorites:
1. LOTR: ROTK (2003) .... (9.8/10)
2. A Clockwork Orange (1971) .... (9.7/10)
3. The Prestige (2006) .... (9.6/10)
4. Blade Runner (1982) .... (9.6/10)
5. Memento (2000) .... (9.6/10)
6. Stalker (1979) .... (9.5/10)
7. 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968) .... (9.5/10)
8. Taxi Driver (1976) .... (9.5/10)
9. LOTR: FOTR (2001) .... (9.5/10)
10 A.I. (2001) .... (9.5/10)
Extended cut has some great additions and some inferior material that might harm the pacing for some (Not for me though) As a fella who's thirsty for more and more Tolkien stuff being put on screen I would prefer to watch the Extended cut but when it comes to recommendations I always tell others to watch the Theatrical version, at least for their first viewing. £mchekhov 2: Chek Harder wrote:Extended or theatrical?Master Virgo wrote:It most definitely is, see, my list of ten favorite films are different.
