Yes. How isn't it? Casino Royale drags a lot during some parts, namely the card game scenes and the Bond-Vesper vacation scenes after the main baddie Le Chiffre was killed off so early.

Yes. How isn't it? Casino Royale drags a lot during some parts, namely the card game scenes and the Bond-Vesper vacation scenes after the main baddie Le Chiffre was killed off so early.

For most those scenes don't drag.

Well it didn't bother me but the movie definitely slowed down and lost pace.

The pace slows but if it lost pace those scenes wouldn't be very compelling. It's a different feel for a Bond film but I didn't feel like the film lost it's pace.
