Now Where Was I ? wrote:The Plagueuis thing is a one-minute monologue forgotten by everyone except fanboys. It would be a cool concept making him the big baddie of this trilogy, but the execution will be hard IMO. But I have no idea where they are going with Snoke otherwise

Ewan doing voice work or even being a Force ghost as Obi Wan is cool for me. No one can deny he did a fine job in Sith with his Guiness mannerisms. Fuck no for Hayden though.
It's happening.
Will be important for Ren. :ugeek:
Also, Driver had no facial hair to make him appear younger. The character is younger than him.

It was much more prevalent at my place though, maybe the marketing made them think that Ren would be the next big baddy, not to put all the blame the marketing team, but i guess partially?

Worldwide, STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS settled for 2nd best opening ever w/ $517M, behind JURASSIC WORLD w/ $525M. Cuz: China.

What I found interesting is that they (Disney) kinda "cheated" on opening weekend. They included the thursday evening showings (which started at 7 pm, not midnight), plus the SW marathons (whose tickets cost more than a SW:FA ticket, according to boxofficemojo they were as much as 60 $). And this shows in the difference between 57 mil (FA) and 43,5 mil (HP- part 2). I mean they still would've broken the record but not with 238 mil (estimated).

Another thing that caught my attention is the drop from Friday to Saturday. It's big in my eyes. From 120.5 mil to 68.7 mil. To 48.8 on sunday. This kinda makes me think it will not reach Avatar. The second weekend will make this clear or not.

Almost every big blockbuster starts opening shows at 7 pm on Thursday.

another Talli-esque post, but:

I mean, I think that's pretty similar to Driver now.

Easy there... first it needs to beat Titanic. If we're gonna talk Titanic, I'd wait for early January at least. What it needs is...
